These are my changes to the readme file that I am trying to get applied to the master branch. First, I must make a readme-edits branch that is a copy of the master so I can test the edits before submiting a pull request and merging my edits with the master branch. That is what makes the collaborative power of GitHub important in today's world of team programming.
