Line breaks are not escaped

If I write data to a file where a value contains a multi-line text, it won't be escaped and will show in a seperate line if opened, for example in mac os numbers. Is there a way to force escaping of linebreaks?

Happened to me also.
I think I'm going to escape it by myself.

The current functionality is to quote those fields.

Doing some house closing for now. Reopen if you have a good use case for this functionality.
