FileSwine is LAN-indexer for Linux. FileSwine has only been tested on Ubuntu 12.04. There is no guarantee that this software will work for you. It has been developed to index the shares on the LAN in Selwerd III. I cannot assure that this software will work anywhere else. It just might, though!
Drop the files into your desired webfolder (example: /var/www). Also checkout the .htaccess Create the database according to the /db/db.sql file. (just import it) Change the database information in /model/class.database.model.php to match your database.
And as last; run /cronjob/crawler.php. I suggest running it from the commandline the first time;
$ sudo php /var/www/cronjob/crawler.php
Running the crawler from the commandline will give you some visual feedback and will also show error messages if there are any. (There will probably be some application missing required for the crawler.)
