This is not an Error and not critical.
It is just a warning that this Unit doesn't has a Category to form a Formation.
Will be fixed in the next Update of FBP New Techs

Hi vongratz,
There are several good tutorials on YouTube for Blender to earn the basics in 3D Modeling, Texturing and Animation. If you want I can give you some additional tips, the link to the Tutorials and the link to the Blender Supcom Import/Exporter. The basic creation of new Models, Textures and Animation can be learned very easily if you spend the time for it.
The best way to learn it is to do some practice and small own projects.
I have started in the past with the creation of simple 3D Models of Buildings and Vehicles in Low Poly Quality. The additional advanced Experiences and Techniques will come from time to time.

Hi CDRMV, I'd love to learn how to create a complete new unit. What tools will I need to do 3D Modeling, Texturing and Animation? Can you provide the links please.

Also, earlier you mentioned the Uveso Debugger Tool. Where do I get the tool? Thank you.

Hi for all. I believe that mods are veeeery hard to do. So, some "error" , if exists, need a cooperation to correct, not any critics.Im a modder, for the same Supreme Commander FA, but my model capabilities in Blender were near zero, so Ive resolved, for while, to test,"ad nauseam", all my concepts and modifications. Since 2000 Ive modded Total Annihilation, and after RTS Spring , with models I made in Wings, that for me is very "friendly, but since the supcomm appeared in the horizon I changed my direction. Im very interested in aero-naval affairs and my mod, TA-BAttlefleet Spring, in the early moments of Spring RTS was on line and had more than 1000 d/ls . My concept is for that, and Im enchanted with some models you have done, CDRMV, the naval transports are fantastic ! I agree. CDRMV has units that, as far as I know, have never-been-done-before variations of other modded units eg. aircraft carrier and the landing craft comes to mind.

Very creative thinking. I just wish he releases them before he gets pulled away to do other better things for him or before he changes his focus to other personal priorities.

First of all you need the 3D Software Blender.
You can get it here:
https://www.blender.org/download/

You will need the Supcom Blender Exporter/Importer.
You can get it here:
https://github.com/Exotic-Retard/SupCom_Import_Export_Blender

I use Notepad ++ for Coding Stuff.
But you can use an another Texteditor, which is able to open and edit Lua and BP files.

About Texturing:
I use Affinity Photo to develop the Textures.
However you will need to export the Textures into the DDS Format.
So I use Paint.Net to generate the DDS files.
An alternative is Gimp

For Debugging, Error and Bug Fixing the Uveso Debugger is a good tool.
As far as I know the Uveso Debugger hasn't been uploaded yet.
You should contact the Creator Uveso in the FAF Forums to get the Uveso Debugger.
However you can contact Uveso on the official FBP Discord Server too.

If you started from scratch, how long would it take you to create the Jet Marine (no flying)? Is it possible to make it stealthy?

By the way, if you like naval units have you checked BlackOps' experimental Conquest ship? If not, you should. It's big, but as you might already know, the size can be easily adjusted smaller to your liking in the blueprint files.

More Naval Units are planned for FBP New Tech s in the future too.
But yeah the Blackops Experimental Dreadnought is one of my favorites.
