Pakiti is a system to check that updates are properly installed. The server collects information about installed packages that is delivered from client machines, and compares this information with the latest updates made available by vendors. The primary focus of the service is on security and it is aware of the CVE vulnerability directory schema, which allows security operators to track particular vulnerabilities.
