Added support for Blender 2.79 and 2.8

This adds support for Blender 2.8 without removing support for Blender 2.79.
This is based on commit 8524de5 and PR #48.

Merging in your changes and the addition of the annotations wrapper. To keep code cleaner and remove the need to add decorator wrappers throughout, I've moved.

Note I realize now that while I was merging in the changes I forgot to remove the old @make_annotations decorators, I'll address this and a couple other general style updates soon.
