Thank you for visiting the implementation guide for the required machine readable files found in the finals rules in 85 FR 72158 (Transparency in Coverage). This is the official CMS Github account and this is the official Transparency in Coverage repository. The goal with this repository is for developers to learn information around the requirements found in the final rule and ask questions about their specific use-cases.

Much of the high-level information about the rules and required files can be found in the project level README.md file. To get familiar with some universal, baseline requirements, please read the information there.

If you have questions, please review past and active discussions. We are working on getting a wiki page built to move some of the older discussions and common themes there to avoid duplicate questions and reduce noise.

This repository is maintained by CMS and CMS representatives. Currently @shaselton-usds is handling much of the technical assistance.
