UI does not match the one shown in the User Guide upon launch and throughout the whole app

Describe the bug
UI does not match the one shown in the User Guide and throughout all the whole testing, no images were displayed.

To Reproduce

1. Launch the app and compare
2. Test all commands
3. No images shown throughout the whole testing

Expected behavior
The graphics on the right panel to be shown as seen in the User Guide, and the item that I choose to display should be shown accordingly.
