Tonatiuh++ is the evolution of Tonatiuh, the de facto standard of open source Monte-Carlo ray tracers for modelling the light collection and concentration system of Solar Concentrating Thermal (CST) systems, and of any other optical component, assembly or system. Tonatiuh++ is essentially the evolution of Tonatiuh ray tracer. Its development is aimed to provide more and enhanced functionalities, increase the accuracy, flexibility, precision and speed of the simulations, and maximize the user experience through a user friendly and enhanced Graphical User Interface (GUI).
