This PR adds initial content and templates to help organize + share resources as part of DEI initiatives through DBMI. The focus here was on adding community health files and avenues for contributions to help share DEI resources. Generally I also tried to channel a DEI-focused ethos with these materials (for instance, through the
CODE_OF_CONDUCT.mdand the pre-commit-based checks performed byalex) balanced by minimal process / development requirements.I plan to follow up with additional changes after this PR which focus on adding existing shareable DEI resources (via #1).
Thank you for any thoughts or feedback you may have! Very flexible to changes which you might feel are better suited to accommodate the needs of the department, DEI, or others.
