Nav bar doesn't update with new or deleted playlists (Android 11)

Describe the bug
Deleting a playlist from the navigation bar doesn't get reflected on the UI on Android 11 devices.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Navigation Drawer
2. Tap on the overflow button on the playlist
3. Select delete

Expected behavior
The UI should not contain the removed playlist.

Observed behavior
The UI contains the removed playlist.

Device and Android version:
Google Pixel 3a, Android 11, Stock, Google Play Services 20.45.16

It's possible this could be related to AOSP issue https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/147619577, which is fixed for Android 11 but not yet released.

@BumbleFlash tested with Pixel 3a with early Jan update and issue still remains.
