Repo for tomato detection with the Nao Robot

We've explored multiple ways of detecting the red circle:

  1. HoughCircles
  2. Colour-based contours
  3. Blob detection
  4. Saliency Mapping
  5. Cognitive Image Processing(combination of edge and blob detection)

Results are visible in results/ Check out our progress report!

Implemented code is available in the tomato_py folder. This should be run as a ROS-node
