The Gist

This offers a view of a schedule in a weekly event calendar. It's an intuitive way to visualize how time is blocked off by a student's course sections. This will make it very easy to avoid any conflicts in sections. BOSS already should prevent time conflicts, but that is only when registering. When actually choosing what sections you want to take, you have to perform that validation yourself. This should allow the user to devise a schedule and ensure that there are no time conflicts from the get-go.

Personally, when I do my scheduling, I end up creating an entire text file with potential sections and all their information. My fellow maintainer Cameron Thomas has described a similar process to me involving screenshots of entire tables in BOSS. This is far more difficult than it needs to be.

This project should greatly simplify the process for students and advisors wanting to visualize a schedule.
