The application supports two primary bounded contexts:

• Collecting

Catalog

The catalog is managing all the information related to model railways like brands, railways, and scales.

A brand is a model railway producer. Brands have contact info (phone, mail address, and website URL). Industrial brands are using mass production to produce models, while brass models brands run limited production, typically more expensive. A group of brands can include more brands (usually via acquisitions).

A railway represents a real railway company. Railways have an abbreviation, a period of activity, and a headquarters.

A scale is the reduction ratio of the model.
