UnixPackage tool

Introduction

This tool aims to provide an easier way to bundle software into packages for common UNIX Operating Systems (currently Debian and Fedora based distros are supported). The required information comprises data about the packager and package itself, as well as the location of the source files.

Quick start

UnixPackage can run on CLI and GUI modes. Examples for the former are available in the README files for Debian and Fedora, and Makefile provides a quick script to generate the JAR, DEB and RPM files. The sections at the right provide step-by-step explanations on the use of the GUI.
