Brief Overview

The Front End has tapped into their artistic potential for a wonderful GUI to help us navigate our MPD, using bootstrap with javascript in their html file(s). Since music is the focus of this product, album artwork from the users library as well as popular artists fill their page with life and wonder, as well as a simple and clear nav bar allowing them to search for the proper Artist, Song, Playlist, or Album. They will have a clear idea of what song is playing and what to do with it, either playing, pausing, moving or removing to/from a playlist, or just adding to a personal queue. After admiring our splendid layout due to the tubular cascading style sheet and oogling at the logo of the century, one must look deeper into how this possibly happened. The functionality comes from the depths underground known as the Back End. This has been responsible for the ability to use Apollo as intended. Each function has been created – for setting up songs in the playlist/queue, using the playlist/queue, volume control, and overall application navigation and sent through the client.
