Broken encoding in messages #11
Comments
This probably has to do with my new html escaping code. Sorry about that, I'll see if I can come up with a better way to handle those characters. |
I tried pasting a table of characters I found here into a conversation and sending it over AIM+OTR and it appears to parse properly. However, I wasn't even able to paste the (ၖၲ) characters into the simulator, they showed up as squares. Perhaps those characters aren't supported by the iPhone? |

Let me know if you can track down how to cause double re-encoding and I'll see if I can fix it. Thanks! |
Try send it from another account to ChatSecure client. I can write cyrillic characters, but can't receive them. |
Oh I only tried ChatSecure to ChatSecure. I'll try a desktop client as On Apr 12, 2012, at 10:23 PM, vitalyster
