<li>Updated the competition Rules and Building Code.</li>

June 2014 - June 2015<br>
<ul>
<li>Cooperated with Taiwan Ziolar Technology Co. Ltd. to develop the building integrated solar thermal shading (BISTS) system.</li>
<li>Developed building energy model, daylight model, CFD model, and solar hydraulic model in <i>EnergyPlus</i>, <i>Daysim</i>, <i>ANSYS</i>, and <i>TRNSYS</i>.</li>
<li>Provided simulation support to predict the performance of BISTS system based on a medium office building (54,000 ft2) located in Los Angeles.</li>
<li>Conducted parametric study to streamline the BISTS design. Investigated the configuration parameters such as slat angle, depth, height, and shading-to-window ratio of the BISTS system.</li>
