Installation

Using PyInstaller (Standalone Executable)

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/ChickenWithACrown/SafeGuardAntivirus.git
   cd SafeGuardAntivirus

2. Run PyInstaller to create the standalone executable:

   py installer --one file SafeGuardAntivirusWithFirewall.py

3. Navigate to the dist directory and run the executable:

   cd dist
   ./SafeGuardAntivirusWithFirewall  # On Linux or macOS

Using setup tools

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/ChickenWithACrown/SafeGuardAntivirus.git
   cd SafeGuardAntivirus

2. Install the package:

   pip install .

3. Run the antivirus program:

   safeguard

Usage

• Customize configuration settings in the source code if needed.
• Run the antivirus program based on the chosen installation method.

Custom Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into by and between ChickenWithACrown, the Licensor ("Licensor"), and the user, the Licensee ("Licensee").

1. Grant of License:

   • Licensor hereby grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software (the "Software") upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $20.

2. License Scope:

   • This license is limited to personal or internal business purposes and is non-exclusive. Licensee may not sublicense, distribute, share, or otherwise make the Software available to any third party without the express written consent of the Licensor.

3. Fees:

   • Licensee agrees to pay a one-time fee of $20 to obtain a license for the Software.

4. Distribution:

   • Licensee may not distribute the Software without the express written consent of the Licensor.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty:

   • The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability:

   • In no event shall Licensor be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.

7. Governing Law:

   • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Georgia.

8. Enforcement:

   • Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Georgia.

9. Termination:

   • Licensor reserves the right to terminate this license if Licensee breaches any terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease using the Software.
