A SIMPLE PHONE BOOK TEST SOLUTION


A technical interview solution for Android Dev Role

Taking a good and critical look into the problem statement provided by the interviewer. I was asked to create a simple Phone Book application, with a typical phone number consisting of Name, Email and Date Created. The phone book should have the following properties:

  • Store unique phone numbers
  • Get unique details using the phone number
  • get the list of phone numbers

This project uses Kotlin.

Technologies used:

  • Kotlin
  • Oracle Open JDK 13.0.2

Tools used:

  • Intelli J IDEA

The project folder directory is divided into:

  • src : which contains the application entry point.

Running this project


So, you would have to run locally.This involves cloning this repository, so go ahead with that first.

Local Environment


Foremost, install Intelli j or IDE of your choice, set your local machine path, then open your terminal on Intelli j and type the following command below:

git clone https://github.com/Chinex-Boroja/PhoneBookTest.git

navigate to src folder, then open Main.Kt file to run the application.
