Build a trivia application for people who love both trivia and humor. This will incorporate web apis that pull jokes and trivia questions and combine them in to a a simple quiz format. The player can achieve a high score by correctly guessing either the punchline to a joke or the answer to a random trivia question. The top ten user's scores will be kept track of in the browser's history.
AS A lover of humor and trivia I WANT to take a timed quiz on trivia or humor that stores high scores SO THAT I can gauge my wits compared to my peers
Here are the critical requirements necessary to develop a the game:
GIVEN I am taking a quiz
WHEN I click the Joke Trivia button
THEN a timer starts and I am presented with a list of jokes displaying questions and multiple answers
WHEN I click the Trivia Trivia button
THEN a timer starts and I am presented with a list of trivia displaying questions and multiple answers
WHEN I answer either a trivia or joke question
THEN I recieve a score for a correct guess and I am presented with another question of the same type
WHEN all questions are answered or the timer reaches 0
THEN the game is over
WHEN the game is over
THEN I can save my initials and view my score
WHEN I view my score
THEN I can choose to view my score according to the game played
WHEN the game ends
THEN I can click play again to play a new game
WHEN I view the screen
THEN the formatting will be themed and responsive
