At the very least for the stable release, PeerTube should feature:

  • Interface localization, to support multiple languages;
  • Video subtitles, to facilitate video accessibility for diverse audiences;
  • Improved RSS feeds, to follow instances, users and channels through the RSS protocol (and more: Atom, JSON-feed)
  • Video import from URL (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymot…

At the very least for the stable release, PeerTube should feature:

  • Interface localization, to support multiple languages;
  • Video subtitles, to facilitate video accessibility for diverse audiences;
  • Improved RSS feeds, to follow instances, users and channels through the RSS protocol (and more: Atom, JSON-feed)
  • Video import from URL (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc.) or torrent file from within the UI;
  • Improved and advanced search feature;
  • Software stability (bug fixes) and scalability.

Some of the listed requirements are already met, at least in part, but need work be easy enough to use by anyone.
