Since we are proposing to remove the main menu configuration from database, there will not be any provision for adding custom links to most used pages.

Need a provision to add custom menu items for frequently accessed pages. This can be on the left menu towards the bottom.

@simonkp would the JSON-type config item be acceptable for storing this "favorites link list?"
