Important remarks

  • This version does not support auto-update. User must manually update their DS4W accordingly to the instructions in the latest release page
  • Rumble and the Lightbar Passthru mode have been re-enabled when using a Virtual DS4, but they are not actually fixed
    • If the user is suffering from infinite rumble then they must set the rumble strength to 0% in the profile settings

  • Disabled automatic updater and removed related options
    • Users will have to manually check for updates on the site for now
  • Re-enabled controller feedback (rumble and lightbar passthru) when using a profile with Virtual DualShock 4
    • Rumble and the lightbar passthru are still broken and should be manually disabled in the profile settings if facing issues
  • Added "Info Board" tab with general info regarding this version and common issues users may suffer from
  • Fixed DualSense Touchpad Passthru not working properly
  • Fixed DS4Windows turning off DualSense lightbar when stopping even though the controller remains connected
  • Fixed the following settings not being applied or saved:
    • Flick Stick Min Angle Threshhold
    • Hip Fire Delay
    • Right Stick Anti-snapback option being (incorrectly) hidden if LS Anti-snapback is disabled
  • Made HidHide driver installation process always fetch the latest version
    • It was previously always fetching v1.0.30
  • Added Log warning when DS4Windows detects HidGuardian is installed
  • Default profile and presets changed
    • Default profile will now load the Xbox 360 Gamepad Preset
    • Updated all gamepad related presets
      • Default deadzones and anti-deadzones are now 0.00
      • DS4 related profiles will have rumble and lightbar passthru disabled since they still has issues
    • Updated all KB/M related presets
      • Deadzones are now 0.10 for the Left stick (WASD control) and 0.05 for the right stick (mouse control). If users face unintentional keys input or mouse control then the deadzone needs to be increased
  • Prevented issue in which DS4Windows touchpad mouse control could get stuck in "OFF" state while editing profile settings
  • Renamed some options and divided the Profile Editor's "other" in sections
