Hi @chmnata - still working through the ActiveTO stuff but here's some initial thoughts/questions on the general congestion functions here. Generally this looks great and don't think there's significant changes needed. We might have also discussed some of this so please feel free to comment as needed. I wasn't able to load the notebook.

My thoughts on what the appropriate aggregation should be, after also reviewing some of the ActiveTO stuff:

  • City-wide TTI: a single value every day, every 30 minutes (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
  • Corridor TTI: a single value every week, every 30-minutes or 60-minutes (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.) - non-holiday weekdays only
  • City-wide BI: a single value every month, every 30-minutes (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.) - non-holiday weekdays only
  • Corridor BI: a single value every month, every 30-minutes or 60-minutes (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.) - non-holiday weekdays only

Specific field name / data type changes

  • rename fields in CTEs that are actually travel times from spd_avg_all to tt_[something]
  • remove _hc from data_pct fields since we're not filtering by confidence
  • ensure all month fields reflect a date rather than an integer

Other things

  • please rename the readme to the .md extension
