Hi Claudio,

However, the script works fine in small environments when run in larger and complex forests. (i.e. more than 50 DCs)
The Domains tab shows zero domain controllers. Additionally, the Domain Controllers, Security, and Hardware/Software Reporting tabs are blank and display no results.
The log shows no errors. There are few warnings and messages.
My Forest/Domain Function level : 2012R2
OS under Forest : Mix of 2016 and 2019 ( On prem, Azure, AWS)

Hi There @Tusharvmankar

That's interesting. How is the Domain Controller's tab? It contains the table with the domain controllers? Or it also empty?

What about the xml files in the report folder? There are files for any of the domain controllers?

AdXray

This is how the output looks (in Domain Controllers, Security and Hardware/Software section). I am having the same problem when implementing it somewhere other than the test environment, where it works perfectly fine.

Hi @simboeck

Can you check the script's folder to see if the xml files are being generated correctly?

Logging

Hey Claudio,

the only xml files which are generated were the ones for forest, domains and gpos. Other than that there is not xml files as output, I have attached the logs but as you can see there is no real information on why its not getting the information it should get. Its also no timeout issue as the report starts and finishes in the same second. Do you have any idea on what the reason could be, it is a much broader and larger domain than the test environment? Other than that I don't know what differentiates them in a sense that the script doesn't execute right.

@simboeck

Perhaps the WinRM access is disabled in the environment?

Can you make a test?

From the server where you are running the script in the environment, run the following commands:

Invoke-Command -cn "ANYDOMAINCONTROLLERNAME" -ScriptBlock {W32TM /query /status}

repadmin /showbackup "ANYDOMAINCONTROLLERNAME"

Change the "ANYDOMAINCONTROLLERNAME" with the name of any remote Domain Controller

See if something is returned from those commands
