More tutorials involving AbstractOperations + Output #1143

A lot of sophisticated and complicated things are feasible with AbstractOperations (such as mixing functions and fields in calculations, averaging in space, averaging in time, and slicing arbitrary output). However, the examples don't really cover all possible uses. It might be nice to have a tutorial-like section in the docs for this.
