Looking into the flaky test it seems like this feature is completely broken and might visit the same nodes multiple times, depending on the conditions.

When there was only a single block returned, we relied on keeping a map of all the returned paths to avoid returning paths more than once (we still queried and analyzed them though), but after #59545 that only happens per block, so if the duplicated paths are visited in different blocks they will be returned multiple times.
