Currently each copy is represented as plist file on disk, we want some index to search on, I would change this to use sqlite or some embedded datastore..

I'd love this feature too!!

Long story (sorry): I was loving ClipMenu (origin of Clipy) and thought the project was dead, then I found a $5 equivalent (weirdly looking alike BTW) on the AppStore but it did start bugging recently (the shortcut fails half of the time) and searched ClipMenu again and found Clipy this time. But the Search feature is missing!!

All that to say, if you desperate for the search feature: you can try the PasteBox app
