Version exclusivity

Max Persson edited this page Jul 16, 2020 · 2 revisions

If a section of a page only applies to certain versions, that should be specified directly below the heading.

The same applies to Tech pages. In which case that should be the very first thing specified on the page.

Example: Exclusive to version 1.0.2 and 1.1.0.

Version Format

  • X.Y.Z means that it applies to that specific version. E.g. 1.0.2.
  • X.Y means that it applies to all X.Y.Z versions. E.g. 1.0 would include 1.0.0, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.
  • If something applies to two specific versions, format it X.Y.Z and X.Y.Z. E.g. 1.0.0 and 1.0.1.
  • If something applies to a longer range of versions, format is X.Y.Z through X.Y.Z. E.g. 1.0.1 through 1.1.0 or 1.0 through 1.1.

Menu sections (like in the Techniques dropdown) use & instead of and, and - instead of through.
