I would put them in spreadsheet. Yesterday, I had put it in the deck like this:

  • Uses phone numbers just like whatsapp
  • Available for both android and iOS
  • Calls, texts, voice messages, pictures and videos
  • Free group calls and international calls
  • Group messages, group photos,
  • Emojis (emoticons)
  • Push to talk
  • Share locations with friends
  • HD quality of Video call
  • one-button send text, voice messages, pictures and videos, even during a live call
  • Add more people to on-going call
  • Swipe talk screen to left to see who is in call and who is speaking
  • Use “share” tab to invite friends to talkray, it would compose text or email
  • Adjust the volume of talkray calls, by using side buttons of android/iphone with plus and minus sign on them
  • Mute talkray calls by pressing button on above volume buttons
  • Way to check if phone is connected with the server
  • Will soon get released on blackberry and windows
  • They have ads in the application
  • It can use google voice number instead of regular phone number

@sojharo

Is this WebRTC ? Your best guess?

There is no browser support?

They are smart to start with Mobile first.

Yes there is no browser support. I have downloaded the application. I haven't done any video call yet. However, if skype technology is closed source then they might be using WebRTC or have their own technology

@sojharo

Thanks for the spreadsheet. Please review my comments. Just do inline update.

Can you do a high-level time estimate? I have added a column

Small: 1-3 days of effort. Medium up to 5 days. Large: 2 Weeks. Ex Large: more than 2 weeks

@sojharo

Thanks. We are done with the analysis so I am closing this task. I have copied the spreadsheet link in the Wiki.
