About The Project

Contextual reminder
They (Lapage) opened our online bookstore two years ago, and they would like to take stock now. This will allow them to decide how to proceed, for example whether to create certain offers, adjust certain prices, etc.

Mission objective
An analysis of the different sales indicators

  • indicators and graphs around the turnover ;
  • look at the evolution over time and set up a moving average to evaluate the global trend ;
  • zoom in on the references, to see the tops and flops, the distribution by category, etc ;
  • some information on the profiles of our customers, and also the distribution of the turnover between them, via for example a Lorenz curve

A more targeted analysis of the customers

  • link between a customer's gender and the categories of books purchased;
  • the relationship between customer age and total purchase amount, purchase frequency, average basket size and categories of books purchased

Data analysis
