Short roundup of the initial problem

On MacOS, when compiling with Qt5.12, dark mode looks pretty bad.

What will change with this Pull Request?

  • Dark mode will be prevented

Does it make sense to include this if we get qt@5.9 from homebrew soon and ship that instead 5.12?
I guess it’s a temporary bug that will be fixed when we switch to 5.12 again?

@tooomm imho it makes sense. We skipped Qt version 5.8 and 5.9 because they had bad bugs, see #2647, and we are going to use 5.12.x in the future anyway.
