I know this could be an unreasonable amount of work for a feature with a very limited usage, but I would like to know the daily installations of a library.

Motivation: evaluating a publication about a project is hard, stats are general and doesn't reflect how the project is trending during a certain time. Considering how hard and time consuming a publication can be (article, book, paper, etc...), it would be nice to see how a certain project performs over the time to understand how many people a potential publication can reach.

this is much more feasible with #12 happening
