Q. Is the deck mostly focused on optimism or my reflections as a trait for success in my journey?
A. The deck is generally focused on reflections for the entirety of my journey, hence the "retrospective" in the title, but optimism is a big value that I share and talk about the importance of and how it helps me, alongside the consistency and ambition being among the other values.
Thus, the retrospective is the main idea and point but a big part of that journey includes values like optimism that helped it develop and persist, even till the current day. I think having a focus on a positive outlook for the future is going to be massively inspirational and resonant with a lot of folks at the event with the way the job hunt and the market are, especially with AI, robotics, and automation(which I also wanted to give a positive light to).
Notes:
I will be open to questions throughout, if someone raises their hand and has an urgent one. There will also be a section at the end for questions. This will be said in the 2nd slide.
I kept some stuff from our last meeting where we discussed the slides. I also added some stuff and removed some stuff, and edited some stuff. Followed your advice to make it more cohesive, but didn't want to overly change some of the really important stuff that in my opinion should be there.
Let's definitely chat again about the updated deck so if there is any parts that you think should be removed or added, I can explain why I have them or I can go ahead and make the change. I would love to discuss.
P.S. I did change the title slightly to be more encompassing to the deck's topics. I also updated the Github Issue with the new direction, and made it more concise.
