Completed-Games Registers v1.1.3
This version adds some confirm dialogs and rewrite one functionality.
Changelog
- Added confirm dialogs before doing a backup or exporting the registers. These can be deactivated if wanted.
- Added some debug stuff.
- Changed a bit light theme to make it less bright.
- Changed the way that the software opens a web browser. Now checks between Windows, Mac OS, and Linux systems.
Installation
- Be sure to comply with the requirements specified in this section.
- Download the file
Completed-Games-Registers-v1.1.3.zip
, extract its contents into a new folder and run the jar (as simple as that). Be sure to let thejar
file and thelib
folder be in the same root path to run the program.
Update previous versions
You only need to replace the old jar
file from the previous version with the new one. However, from now on (starting at the 1.1.1 version), all the future versions will need the lib
folder to be in the same path as the jar
file in order to work.
If this is the first version you download that requires this lib
folder, just copy this folder in there. If not, delete the previous lib
folder and copy the new one (that's because maybe could be some libraries that are useful in previous versions but not in the next ones).
Additional notes
- This
jar
file works for both Windows and Linux systems. - Some of the
json
files downloaded (from RAWG API) from the previous version v1.0.0 may no longer work here because of a change in the construction of their file names. However, this will not affect the created registers and save files. If you want to update, it's recommended to delete the previousjson
files and redownload them again (these are located indata/game/
). - The above note only applies to the v1.0.0 version. The v1.0.1 and above versions will work fine.
Completed-Games Registers v1.1.2
This version just fixes one only "bug". That's it.
Fixed bugs
- #7: When attempting to open web browser and fails, the text dialog is empty.
Changelog
- Literally nothing but the fixed bug.

Completed-Games Registers v1.0.1
This version 1.0.1 patches some bugs found in the previous version (v1.0.0). As always, I recommend you to read this information (at last the update and additional notes, please).
If you want to update your jar file, read this section.
Fixed bugs
- #2: The user can't open the JAR file due to an Exception.
- #3: The interface is showing up two identical registers.
- #4: The interface shows up the same information for two different registers.
Changelog
- Now, when a register is created, the main view will display the last register entered (at the bottom).
- When a user modifies the name of a register (not lowercase), then the register will be deleted and re-created (this will order the register at the next restart). Related to #2 and #3.
- Now, if the user is in the configuration view or is editing/creating a new game register and tries to close the window, a dialog will show up telling that it's not possible at that moment.
- Now, the user can see the download steps of the game information with debug mode. To use it, just clone the repository and run the respective runnable file.
- Now it's practically impossible to retrieve the same game information with a different game register. This fixes the #4 bug. Again, please read this.
Installation
- Be sure to comply with the requirements specified in this section.
- Download the file
Completed-Games-Registers-v1.0.1.zip
, extract its contents into a new folder and run the jar (as simple as that).
Update previous versions

file with the new one and run it. It won´t affect your save files, either the json
files. However, for the latter, please read the additional notes section.
Additional notes
- This
jar
file works for both Windows and Linux systems. - Some of the
json
files downloaded (from RAWG API) from the previous version (v1.0.0) may no longer work here because of a change in the construction of their file names. However, this will not affect the created registers and save files. If you want to update, it's recommended to delete the previousjson
files and redownload them again (these are located indata/game/
). - Because of a change in the RAWG API, it's now impossible to download information without an API KEY. This implies that this version can't download game information anymore. (this is solved from v1.0.3).

json
files will not work in future versions due to a change in the construction of the names. This implies that this version can't download game information anymore. (this is solved from v1.0.3).
