The Mezzmo Movie Trailers Channel has separate configuration options for the client and the server. You should install the client first, update the configuration file, run the client and then move to the server.

Client Configuration File

The client comes with a sample configuration file. Before using, you will need to review the file and modify for your environment.

Setting Option Definition and proper usage
u:\mezzmo_channels\ This is the local path from the client PC running the Mezzmo Movie Trailers Channel client
to your trailer folder where trailers and the database will be stored (see note 1)
e:\mezzmo_channels\ This is the trailer and database storage location from your Mezzmo server so it can find
them. It is highly recommended that this is on a local Mezzmo server drive (see note 1)
50 Number of movie trailers to keep by type (0-50 recommended, 100 Max) 0 is unlimited
1080 Maximum resolution (1080, 720 or 480) of local trailers to be fetched
logfile.txt Location of detailed logfile
mp4 Output format. mp4 or mkv. mp4 is default. (see note 2)
20 New of trailers to check per category for each run (1-40)

Notes

1. If you are also running the Mezzmo Trailer Checker for high quality local trailers, it is highly recommended to use a different trailer location folder for the Mezzmo Movie Trailers channel client.
2. The Mezzmo Movie Trailers Channel client does not have a utility to change existing downloaded trailers from one format to another. If you change the format setting after you have been running for a while, run a clean all command to delete the old trailers and then run the trailers command to download new ones in the updated proper.

Server Configuration

After setting up and running the client, you will install the server folder onto your Mezzmo server. The configuration options are under properties and then the Settings button.

settings2

The server has a small number of settings.

Setting Option Definition and proper usage
e:\mezzmo_channels\ This is the trailer and database storage location from your Mezzmo server so it can find
them. This needs to match the client setting for the Mezzmo location.
Video This is the media type which Mezzmo will send to the clients. Video is the default. Use
Trailer if you are running with the Mezzmo Kodi addon and want the Play from Mezzmo option
Leave Blank Default keywords can be used to send keywords to the clients for the trailer files. The
default is blank. In this example I used nosync to tell the Mezzmo Kodi addon not to sync
the trailer files to Kodi's database.
N Detailed logging can be enabled to troubleshoot server issues. If enabled a logfile will
be written in the local storage location above \trailers folder. Default is N.
