feat: biometric authentication for mobile devices #693

This feature will allow mobile apps to use built-in Fingerprint/FaceID sensors and allow users to use passwordless biometric login. It implements Fido2 in part, but not fully. To be fully implemented, we need to do a fair bit of research of the spec.

Future expansions of this feature include:

  • Passwordless registration
  • FIDO2 implementation
  • Use as part of MFA solution
