Question: Can multiple select render functions share the same state?

I have a form with to select fields. They use the same menu item list but I require the fields to select different items.
The case is to select to teams for a match.

I have one select state for each field. The Select.selectIdentifier could implies that you could have several fields for each state, but when I tried this both fields where triggered when interacting with one of them.

Do I need different states for all fields or is there a way to share state?
