Ticket # Question Answer
917 What should be the timezone required to be followed by Admin API?
E.g: GetMetrics, performance metrics required to populate current day performance, current day should be UTC or AEST?
Please find the following articles which may assist you:
Clarification of timezones for time-based data fields
CDR Register Metrics Collection
In addition the Data Standards Body are exploring the adoption of Conventions, please refer to the following proposal:
Timezone of metrics data
Metrics reporting current day
919 I am raising this question to related to CDR rules related to secondary user revocation service for Data holders.
CDR rule 1.13 suggests that the consumer data request service may be online or offline – this is made clear both from Note 4 under that CDR rule, and also from the Compliance Guidance for Data Holders Banking sector April 2021.
However, rule 1.15(5) states that the consumer dashboard, which must be online, should include a functionality allowing for the withdrawal of the secondary user instruction.
The use of the word “withdraw” in 1.15(5)(b)(ii) instead of the word “revoke” is inconsistent with the language used in 1.13. Rule 1.15(5) also does not specify that the making of a secondary user instruction must also be a functionality made available online on the customer.
Also, there is no other guidance published by the ACCC / Treasury / ZenDesk around the withdrawal of secondary user instructions and if this has to be online.
We wanted to check if this is potentially drafting inconsistency and can be rectified in new proposed CDR rules?
