This tool is a wrapper around Brainstorm hosted on CBRAIN that allows the user to execute pipelines on EEG-BIDS dataset. The tutorial on how to use the tool on CBRAIN can be found here.
Pipelines can be saved in two different formats, either MAT or JSON. Executing a MATLAB M file will not be an option.
This is the easiest solution. Using the interface from the compiled version of Brainstorm, pipelines can be created and exported to MAT files. Currently, the online tool uses the 13-FEb-2024 version of Brainstorm (updated every couple of months through 2024). You can download the latest version of Brainstorm compiled here.

To create a valid pipeline in a JSON format, refer to this repository.
The Boutique Descriptor of the tool has to be in a different repository.
