Initial Release of Phoenix for the 2024 FRC Beta

This is a BETA release of Phoenix software compatible with the 2024 FRC Beta Software.

2023's Phoenix Pro API is now the free-to-use Phoenix 6 API, and a Phoenix Pro license is only required for some Pro-only firmware features. A new more cost-effective type of Pro licensing is also available in the form of the Phoenix Pro Season Pass.

Phoenix Tuner X

Phoenix Tuner X is available through the Windows and Android App stores - see here for installation instructions.

NOTE: Temporary Diagnostics Server is not yet updated for Beta. To get the 2024 beta version of diagnostics, deploy a robot application using the beta vendordeps.

Online Vendordep URLs

The vendordep files for 2024 have been streamlined - instead of choosing v5 only, v6 only, or v5 + v6, you now add the Phoenix 6 vendordep and optionally the Phoenix 5 vendordep.

Note that Phoenix 5 does depend on some low-level libraries in Phoenix 6, so projects that only utilize the v5 API will still require both v5 and v6 vendordeps to be added. An appropriate error message will display on build if a project only has the Phoenix 5 vendordep without Phoenix 6.
