Accessing myAutomation Roster from WebExThrottle #680

Doug, Try it out and see what you think. Peter |
Thanks Peter
That is absolutely awesome.
I joined the discord server today (Fred Decker suggested that would be a better place for discussions like this, and set me an invite).
There I saw your post that this new development is out, but went to the WebThrottle download site and see it isn't up yet. I assume that is your 'ooops' post, something not quite ready yet.
Anyway, I will follow the discord discussions now, so no need to email.
With thanks for the quick response, and all your efforts on DCCEX. It has completely changed how I will approach my soon-to-be created layout.
regards
Doug S

Doug,
I found some time to implement the roster on EX-WebThrottle.
Try it out and see what you think.
Peter

Hello
I'm quite new to the DCC-EX world, but am having great fun learning.
I have a DCC-EX command station, and have been putzing around with WebExThrottle, adding a roster and function maps. But I see on your web page that you don't recommend this approach as it likely won't be supported in future releases, and I have found it to be a bit glitchy. So I have gone the route of defining my roster in myAutomation.h, and uploading this to the CommandStation. This seems to be working (I can access my roster and all the function keys I have defined via the WiThrottle app on my iPhone).
My question, can I access this roster on my computer running WebExThrottle? I am assuming that is the plan, to do away with the rosters and function maps created in WebExThrottle, and access the rosters and function key definitions that exist in the myAutomation library instead?
with thanks
Doug
