Releases: DDev247/engine-sim
0.1.12 EFI 0.2
Added engine thermals (tweakable with the blockCool
, blockCoolRadiator
, and blockFireTemp
parameters). If you overheat your engine to 200 degrees your engine blows up, so be careful.
Also, decreased the .zip file size because I deleted some files 😃

EFI?
"EFI" finally in ES?
Not really but close. You can now connect TunerStudio MS to ES and tune your engines like a pro! (not really lmao)
Installation:
- Install
com0com
on your computer (communication between TS and ES) - Install TunerStudio MS on your computer (tuning ofc)
- Download and unpack the
efi-0_1.zip
archive - Copy the
TSCppBase
folder from theTuner Studio MS
folder toDocuments\TunerStudioProjects
(in your user directory) - Open TunerStudio MS and ES and wait for them to connect (if TunerStudio doesn't connect make sure the "Work Offline" checkbox isnt ticked in the File menu.
- If it still doesn't connect, you might need to restart your PC or check the Communications tab in TunerStudio MS and make sure the COM port is set to
COM4
and the baud rate is115200
.

Update: new colors and better boost gauge
Many people have said they could not launch the simulator and that it was crashing. I can't do anything about it until I find a way to debug the sim on the other end. All I can say is: Please ensure the simulator is fully unpacked and everything is in place. A lot of the crashes/errors I encountered were because the sim couldn't compile the engine or something like that. so if everything is in place, try to look for the error_log.txt
. If you find it you can attach it in issue #6.
Do mind that the mod is around 1GB. I can't do anything about it, thus any issues related to size will be closed.
