Recent legal entities changes involve presenting company/sole trader registrations in the format "Entity Name trading as My Business". In production, some carriers applied this format themselves when registering, by entering a business name such as "John Doe trading as JD Skips". The recent changes would result in these names being presented as "Entity Name trading as John Doe trading as JD Skips".
This change is to avoid duplication and ensure that the entity name (registered company name or sole trader name) is used when presenting company information. Specifically, if the business name includes the term "trading as" or "t/a", everything up to and including this term will be omitted from the presentation name.
