Digital Humanities, in Southern Africa in particular, is a new buzz word. But not all interested in DH is entirely sure what it can entail and where to find examples and resources about the field.
The aim of this project is to provide newcommers with a portal and starting point to some of the many examples of DH initiatives, tools and resources available online.
This documents is a set of guidelines for contributing to the project on GitHub. These are guidelines, not rules. This guide is meant to make it easy for you to get involved.

We welcome contributions in terms of:
- information about existing training materials and initiatives
- suggestions for new training material that could be developed
- suggestions for workshops and other events that could be offered within Southern Africa (let the community know if you have a need for training)
- anything else that could help to build an empowered DH community in Southern Africa
