Follow-up: The repository shared has been archived by the owner. It is now read-only. Will confirm with the contact person if there is another active one available. Thanks.

Hey @nathanbaleeta! I don't see the linked repo in the JSON file this PR intends to add, so I don't know where to update it 🙂

The repository for Open Terms Archive Core code is https://github.com/ambanum/OpenTermsArchive/ and will soon migrate to the @OpenTermsArchive organisation, where you will find all the other repositories.

I also understand that one of the blocking questions was the one of licensing.
The Core code is licensed under EUPL v1.2, the file declarations are either under AUPL v1.2 or AGPL v3 (depending on the partner managing them), and the resulting dataset are published under ODbL.

@MattiSG Thank you for sharing the correct repo and appropriate licensing. I have updated the necessary files on your behalf and will integrate them into the registry after the review is completed. Thanks.

Thanks @nathanbaleeta for your quick adjustments!
What's interesting with Open Terms Archive is that it is both a series of datasets and the engine that generates those datasets. How should we reference this in the DPGA registry? 🙂

@MattiSG we would be happy to nominate Open Terms Archive under both open-source software and open data categories. Kindly share a link that explicitly mentions an approved open data license for this change to be valid. For Open Data, we only accept conformant licenses to the Open Definition from the Open Data Commons. Thanks.

Our datasets are distributed across a growing number of repositories and are not consolidated yet. You can find them, and their ODbL license files in the ZIP file, on:

@MattiSG Thanks for sharing the data repositories. I would suggest we have them first consolidated before we adding the open data category to this submission for better organization. Kindly let us know when thats complete and we shall update the entry ASAP. Thanks.

Digital solutions that are no longer active, or do not provide the required documentation needed for review, will be removed from the DPG Registry as per the archiving policy.
