this would be a useful enhancement to add to the plugin in the sidebar below the categories.

I think something like these 3 stats would be very useful:
Reviews: 10
Comments: 45
Views: 567

I'm guessing this will probably also need a recount & rebuild feature so if anything is off, the recount & rebuild would fix the information.
