DroidCarve Build Status

DroidCarve is capable of analyzing an Android APK file and automate certain reverse engineering tasks. This repository contains the server and client component.

The Frontend

The frontend is a React application, which you can find in the client/ subfolder.

The Backend

The backend is a Python flask application, which you can find in the server/ subfolder.

Installation

Automatic

Installation files only work on OS X for now, but DroidCarve should still run fine on Linux, for installation see Manual section.

git clone https://github.com/DarioI/droidcarve
cd droidcarve
chmod +x install.sh
chmod +x run.sh
./install.sh
./run.sh

Manual

Make sure you have Python 3.4+ installed.

git clone https://github.com/DarioI/droidcarve
  • Build the DroidCarve web interface
cd droidcarve/client
yarn install
yarn build
  • Install the Python dependencies
cd ../server
source venv/bin/activate
pip install --upgrade pip
pip install --no-cache-dir -r server/requirements.txt
  • Start the DroidCarve Server
export PYTHONUNBUFFERED=TRUE
gunicorn -b 0.0.0.0:1337 --log-level=info wsgi:app --workers=1 --threads=10 --timeout=1800
