Ticket to keep track of open bugs and missing features for target release 4.0

Bugs

Fix Typescript definition
~~Fix display of wrong values in reference UI~~
~~Fix functional tests for texttracks~~
~~Add missing JSDoc~~
~~Repair offline demo~~
~~Longterm playback of multiperiod streams causes segment download error~~

Missing features

If required, add preload functionality again
Add migration guide for 3.x to 4.0

Improvements

~~Cleanup settings.js~~
~~Cleanup sources.json~~
